Apartment 195, was the nicest place Iv been to in a long time. All the staff were so helpful and friendly in helping me organise the event and keeping me calm and collected on the night. There was a great atmosphere in the bar and everybody loved the venue. I really feel that Apartment 195 is really the best bar on Kings Road. It really is a fexiable place that any type of party can go. Love it.

I have never been to such an awful bar - the staff were rude. I am on the team Sports and Social Committee where I work and we were invited to an event to showcase the venue. The only semi-decent comment about the venue was the magician they'd hired. We arrived for an event starting at 6, and they weren't ready. I find it very difficult to consider hiring someone to organise a party for me when they couldn't even start on time. No one checked to see if we were okay. We got a glass of champagne and some M & S nibbles and that was all the 'party' consisted of. I can honestly say that I would never be able to recommend this venue to anyone.

Staff are rude and unfriendly (it doesnt hurt to smile people!!) and seem as though they really dont want to be there. Yes the decor is nice but it seems very disorganised, you wait forever for 'service', agree with the other poster regarding opening times, they acted like they were doing us a favour by letting us drink there!! I will not be returning to this awful place.

Had the misfortune to also attend on a so called 'showcase event' trying to persuade my company to book their christmas party there. I have spent a lot of time researching an appropriate place for our office christmas party and I will be avoiding this one like the plague. I arrived just after the advertised opening time and they were not even ready and asked me to wait downstairs for 20 minutes. Only one glass of champagne was offered and then I was informed that all drinks must be paid for. This doesnt usually happen when an event is showing you what kind of christmas party it can provide to your office. They brought a couple of plates of canapes round which could have come from any supermarket. When I then went to leave, someone had the cheek to ask me if I wanted to book a party! When I said no, I was not happy with the treatment, she was very rude - clearly a sign of inexperience of organising such occasions. It was disorganised from the start and I should have known when the email originally came through without a time on it, which I had to chase for. I have been to some really amazing venues that really do showcase a good party and I will be making bookings, but as for this one, no way.

I went to a showcase evening here on Monday 8th december, it was a christmas networking event. I was a little hesitant after reading the comments from other people, however the night was the best showcase I had been to so far. I mentioned to the events manager that there were bad comments regarding past events and he said that the old functions manager was no longer working with them and that the company had a new change in management. This obviously showed as there were lovely canapes and free cocktails and drinks going around, and plenty of them as well as a lovely touch at the end a nice goody christmas bag which had a boxed apartment 195 martini glass and free products!! Very classy indeed, seems they have taken on board the comments and lifted there game!! I will definately be returning, very fun, friendly and a beautiful venue!!

I love Apartment 195, I recently had my engagement party there and it was brill!! staff were so helpful from the organising stages right through to the end!!
