City Limits Champagne & Wine Bar
City Limits is a family owned winebar, with an intimate downstairs restaurant, in the historic Spitalfields area of London. David Hughes, “one of the friendliest bar owners in the world” (The Times), has run City Limits with the same chef for 21 years. We offer lavish bar snacks and a substantial restaurant menu with a wide selection of champagnes, cocktails and wines.
Our Restaurant
With a quieter, more intimate setting, and with alcoves perfect for business meetings, our restaurant has a very regular clientele.
The menu changes regularly as food comes into season.
Our Wines
Some 20 years of tasting, travelling to vineyards in various regions of France, Germany, Spain Italy & Australia and, occasionally, drinking the stuff, has somehow enabled me to pull this list together. David or Emily will be pleased to take your bookings by phone or fax. Sample menus and our current wine lists can be downloaded from our website.
