Lay & Wheeler on Cornhill with its airy views of the recently refurbished Royal Exchange shopping mall is situated in view of Bank tube station in elegant surroundings of a former bank premises.

We serve a broad range of wines from our award-winning list and many are available by the glass. Fresh seafood is a speciality at lunchtime in the bar and A La Carte Gallery Restaurant.

The Gallery Restaurant offers a broad menu of quality cuisine with a contemporary twist. The main bar offers excellent sandwiches, light meals and a number of main course options.

In the evening we are happy to reserve areas of the bar or mezzanine for groups of 10 – 100 people, allowing you and your party to celebrate or relax together and perhaps enjoy the items on our evening bar food menu. For larger groups or for special occasions why not try one of our canapé menus, available by prior arrangement.

The Clayvin Room is a private room seating up to fourteen people for private lunches, dinners, meetings or seminars.
